When ftping using
WS FTP:
Set the Profile Name to anything you decide.
Enter your domain name in the Host Name/Address box:
www.yourdomain.com
Set Host Type to Automatic Detect
Enter your FTP User ID and Password
Now that you're logged
into our server you can transfer and navigate your
server directory using a screen like the one below.
Be absolutely sure for backup
purposes that you are transferring from Remote System to Local System !
When you log into our server the
bottom half (Remote System) of
your
FTP screen will show your directories and files.
The top half (Local System) of your FTP screen will initially open on
you main hard drive.
Highlight the file you wish then click on the Transfer button (top if you are
transferring from your hard drive, bottom if you are transferring from our
server) |
